Position: Associate Director – Controls Assurance
Location: Flexible UK locations (with some client travel)

About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced controls assurance professional to lead and deliver complex internal controls engagements, including SOX, ISAE3402, and AAF reporting. You will manage client relationships at senior levels, oversee quality delivery within time and budget, and mentor a talented team. This is an opportunity to work with large global organisations, influencing control environments and driving best practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver internal controls assignments, from planning to final reporting.

• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.

• Review process flows, control documentation, and testing outputs.

• Provide technical guidance on internal control standards and frameworks.

• Coach and develop junior team members.

• Contribute to business growth through proposals and market activity.

What we’re looking for:

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA or equivalent).

• Strong technical knowledge of internal controls frameworks (SOX, ISAE, AAF).

• Experience managing complex control assurance projects for large organisations.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

• Willingness to travel to client sites.
