Astrum Search is delighted to be in a position to represent this highly acquisitive FTSE international group of companies in their quest to find a true business partner to act as Internal Controls Analyst.

This is an exciting time to join as the Internal Controls Analyst as you will have the opportunity to design and help grow its development.

Responsibilities:

• Active support to leadership team and business areas to enable them to design, implement, stabilise and fine tune their internal controls. 
• Act as subject matter expert for Internal Controls and, where required, IT automated controls
• As subject matter expert, manage the control framework for General Controls and work with the team on the implementation and roll out across each business
• Evaluate current control design and, if required, recommend improvements
• Be an ambassador for control improvement and share best practice across all business areas
• Other Risk and Internal Control related project activities as required

The Successful candidate:

• Risk & Controls specialist with prior experience in a similar internal audit/internal controls/SOX compliance function
• Has worked in a decentralised, complex international environment
• Good understanding of financial and finance related processes and controls including related IT automated and IT General Controls
• Ideally have prior experience developing and delivering Controls, Risk and Compliance training
• Enterprise Risk Management processes and reporting
