Job Description
Astrum Search is working with a growing PLC to recruit a new Senior Internal Auditor. This is a newly created role in a growing in-house team.
Reporting to the Senior Audit Manager, you'll be an integral member of the audit team, responsible for delivering a wide-ranging audit plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of the internal audit plan, allocated by the Senior Manager, including thematic reviews, country reviews, and control self-assessment.
- Ensure audits are delivered in full in line with IIA best practice.
- Document all aspect of the audit process through the production of quality working papers.
- Attend closing meetings with management to discuss and agree audit findings.
- Support management in identifying solutions of complex control weaknesses.
Skills & Experience:
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIA or equivalent).
- Prior internal audit experience in industry or practice is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of IIA best practice and methodology.
- Ability to build productive and trusted relationships with management.
- High attention to detail with strong communication and presentation skills.
This is rare opportunity to join a growing in-house internal audit team. The audit plan is varied and there will be significant opportunity to progress to a Manger level role, or rotate into the wider business.
Travel is expected to be no more 25%. The team is Central London based 2-3 x per week.
