Astrum Search is working with an international technology and manufacturing company to recruit a new Internal Auditor. This is a new role as the team continues to grow.

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, this is a home-based role that requires around 20% international travel.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the internal audit team to conduct financial and SOX audits.
• Perform additional advisory audits as requested (H&S, anti-bribery etc.).
• Document audit findings and agree key control weaknesses with auditees.
• Produce concise audit reports that clearly document key findings, as well as actions to be undertaken.
• Develop strong working relationships with senior stakeholders globally.
• Travel up to 20% annually (UK/international).

Qualifications:

• Prior external audit and SOX experience is must.
• Experience in a Top 10 accounting firm.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing/Technology industry is desirable but not essential.
• Recognised qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred).
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Additional language skills beneficial (Spanish or German in particular).
