Astrum Search is delighted to be partnering with a world-leading consumer business with annual revenues of over £6bn and a position in the FTSE100. This Internal Audit Manager involves delivering audits across the company, focusing on internal controls and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the planning, preparation and completion of audit projects across the Group following defined quality standards and deadlines
- Involved in the overall audit planning process, attending stakeholder meetings and providing input into the audit plan
- Working as a partner to the business in identifying significant process and structure improvements to assist the business in meeting its corporate objectives
- Leading audits where data analytics testing is a key element of the review
Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience, with a degree or equivalent accounting qualifications.
- Possess advanced understanding of internal controls, including proper design and implementation
- Experience in planning, managing and delivering audits from Big 4 or similar
- Show strong analytical and technical skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, ability to identify issues and provide solutions, and a proactive and team-oriented attitude
