Astrum Search is working with a global leader in the building materials industry to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor. The role is hybrid, working 2-3 days per week in either their Amsterdam office. The role comes with lucrative EU travel as well as great benefits.
About the role:
- Planning and carrying out multi-faceted reviews of financial and operational controls.
- Promote practical solutions and improvements to risk management and internal processes.
- Work individually and as part of the wider team.
- Use audit software to enhance efficiency of audits.
- Carry out transformation, change management or project management type activities when required.
About the candidate:
- Qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
- 3-6 years' experience in a large accounting firm or similar accounting / business experience.
- Experience in internal controls evaluation, SOX, substantive testing and compliance.
- Excellent financial and analytical skills.
- Must have a full clean driving license.
- Willingness and able to travel across the EU.
- Fluent English both verbal and written.
- Another European language is desirable.
