Astrum Search is working with a major UK infrastructure organisation to recruit an experienced Internal Audit Manager. This is a high-profile and senior role in a changing and evolving business that will see you lead a team and deliver high-profile audit engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of a risk-based audit plan focused on strategic priorities
- Manage and inspire a team of auditors, fostering collaboration and professional growth
- Deliver high-quality, board-level reporting and insights
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business
- Champion innovation through the use of data analytics, AI, and automation
- Drive continuous improvement in audit methodology and assurance delivery
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience managing and leading internal audit teams
- Strong background in internal audit within heavy industry (e.g. transport, energy, manufacturing, utilities etc)
- Recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and audit methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including at executive and board level
- Strategic mindset with a passion for digital transformation and data-driven insights
You'll be part of a collaborative team that has a high level of visibility across the business. The role is London based with a hybrid working policy (2-3 x per week) and has limited UK travel.
On offer is a competitive base salary, alongside a car allowance and performance related payment.
