Astrum are working with a leading FTSE-listed international group seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its global internal audit team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse, multinational business, delivering high-impact audits and providing assurance over financial and operational controls to the Audit Committee.

Based in London, the role involves around 30-40% international travel, giving you exposure to senior stakeholders across Europe, South America, and Australasia (Mostly European travel). You’ll take ownership of audits from planning through to reporting, influence senior management to drive improvements, and play a key part in strengthening governance across a complex, global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and report on audits across multiple international businesses.

• Identify weaknesses in controls and propose practical, value-adding improvements.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.

• Perform follow-up reviews to monitor progress against agreed actions.

• Support in preparing reports and papers for senior leadership.

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.

• External audit experience (ideally with a Big 4 firm); internal audit experience is an advantage.

• Strong technical and analytical skills, with excellent report writing and communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel extensively.

• Fluency in English and either Spanish or French (essential).
