Job Description
Astrum Search is working with a nationally recognised transportation business to recruit a Lead Internal Auditor into their growing in-house team.
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will be involved in planning and delivering a host of complex audits. You will get great exposure across the business and will have significant interaction with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach the audit team under the guidance of the Audit Manager.
- Develop and execute complex audit programs, including drafting Terms of Reference (ToR), audit plans, and reports.
- Validate the team's work to ensure alignment with audit objectives.
- Build collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members.
Skills & Experience:
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA) or equivalent operational experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
- Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead effectively and work as part of a team.
