Astrum Search is working alongside a global FTSE 100 to recruit a new Internal Controls Compliance Analyst in Epsom. The role is being recruited following an internal expansion.

The business has performed very well in recent years and continues to go from strength-to-strength. The team is well respected and has a global remit. Expected travel is in the region of 10%.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the testing and compliance scope

• Evaluate existing control design and, where required, recommend improvements

• Execute compliance tests within deadlines based on a mix of observation and inquiry, sampling, reperformance or analytics

• Document control testing results in our governance, risk and compliance platform (Diligent/Highbond)

• Work with all stakeholders to identify control design and operating gaps

Skills & Experience:

• Finance or IT professional ideally with an internal controls or compliance background

• Experience in a similar internal audit/internal controls/SOX compliance function and/or one of the Big 4 firms desirable

• Part qualified accountant, internal auditor or equivalent post graduate professional qualification

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience

• Previous experience in testing or compliance under a SOX404 framework (or similar) highly valued

• Ability to travel across UK&I up to 10%
