Astrum Search is working alongside an instantly recognisable online retail business to recruit a Marketplace Compliance Manager in London.

The Marketplace Compliance Manager will be responsible for their payments-related relationship processes (acquirers and payment service providers (PSPs)), and will help develop and maintain their compliance strategy and policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulation and legislation. You'll also ensure the policies are implemented across all relevant functions to guarantee the business maintains contractual and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the contractual compliance requirements the business has with its PSPs and acquirers.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules/regulations, according to contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing the relationship with co-branded credit card provider.
  • Supporting the business in ensuring it has the right governance and compliance best practices in place.
  • Work with the wider compliance team to identify financial crime compliance (FCC) vulnerabilities the business may be exposed to and implement measures to mitigate or control the risks.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong compliance experience with demonstratable financial crime experience in a regulated environment.
  • Experience working in a retail or e-commerce business is desirable.
  • Experience working with payment service providers and/or acquirers.
  • Risk identification, application of appropriate mitigating controls, and risk management.
  • Experience in establishing and executing compliance monitoring frameworks.

The role is part of a growing compliance team in a fast-paced, dynamic online business. You'll gain great exposure to senior stakeholders and play an integral part in the ongoing compliance efforts in an evolving regulatory landscape.

My client is London based and expect the team office based 2-3 days per week on average.
