Job Description

Astrum Search are delighted to be working with a global asset manager and real estate business to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor with fluency in Spanish based in their London office. My client is able to provide sponsorship to the candidates with the required language skills if you are currently UK based. 

Reporting to the Director, Internal audit, you will be joining a market leader in their fields and find yourself part of a highly regarded and dynamic team that has a fantastic reputation for delivering value to the organisation. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering audit and advisory engagements of the internal audit plan through planning, performing, supervising, and reviewing.
  • Engage with key stakeholders during audit activities, providing regular updates.
  • Executing follow-up procedures to assess the adequacy of implemented recommendations
  • Keeping regional and global IA teams informed about audit plan progress, remediation of findings and changes to key risks
  • Writing clear, concise and constructive findings and audit reports to present results across the portfolio, based on facts, severity and potential risk impact

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Professional qualifications such as CIA, CISA, CFE, CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • At least 3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, internal controls, risk management or relevant industry expertise
  • Willing to travel – approximately 10% based on business needs
  • Willing to work fulltime in an office environment at their London office – With flexible working hours if needed

 

The role is part of a high performing team that is well respected. The audit plan is incredibly varied and you will be delivering wide-ranging, industry focussed audits. You'll gain vast exposure across the business and have significant opportunity to develop in the department or wider business. 

There is some travel in the role, although it is expected to be no more than 10%. The role is London based 5x per week with flexible working hours.
