Global IT Audit Lead – International FMCG Group

Astrum Search is delighted to be supporting a highly successful international organisation in the recruitment of a Global IT Audit Lead.

As part of a progressive Group Internal Audit function, this role offers the opportunity to build and lead the global IT audit agenda while partnering closely with Executive Leadership, the Audit Committee and senior stakeholders across a diverse international footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver the global IT audit strategy and annual IT audit plan.
• Lead audits covering cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, information management and digital transformation programmes.
• Advise senior leadership on IT risk posture, emerging threats and control effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with CIO, CISO and business leaders to strengthen IT governance.
• Drive continuous improvement in IT controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Support ad hoc audits, advisory engagements and investigations as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven background in IT audit, IT assurance or technology risk within industry or a large corporate environment.
• Significant experience, including time within a multinational or manufacturing organisation.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM or CISSP highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL) and cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Solid understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure), operating systems and enterprise applications.
• Flexibility to travel internationally as required.
