Astrum Search is seeking a highly skilled Group Internal Auditor to join a market leading manufacturing business with operations globally. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly-regarded team with genuine opportunities to progress into a finance role, either in Ireland or one of their global locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and report on audits and reviews assigned by the Group Head of Internal Audit. 
• Apply professional auditing principles to assess and evaluate financial, IT, operational, and risk management controls.
• Foster strong working relationships with Head Office and Divisional teams to promote process improvements and a mutual understanding of internal audit functions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and relevant regulatory agencies.
• Extensive travel (approximately 30 weeks annually) to subsidiaries across 225+ locations worldwide.

Skills & Experience:

• Significant experience in External and/or Internal Audit, ideally within an international manufacturing environment.
• Previous roles in Big 4 firms and public companies.
• Strong familiarity with risk-based auditing, IT General Controls, and computer-aided audit techniques.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Ideally fully qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIA.
