Technology Risk & Assurance Manager

Astrum Search is proud to be partnering with a global FTSE listed organisation to appoint a Technology Risk & Assurance Manager. This newly established position sits within a maturing internal audit function and reports directly to the Head of Group Audit.

Main Duties:

• Collaborate with the Head of Audit to shape and refine a technology assurance framework aligned with IIA standards

• Lead end-to-end assurance reviews, ensuring each engagement delivers meaningful insights and practical recommendations

• Develop productive relationships across departments, promoting a proactive approach to risk management and operational resilience

• Keep abreast of emerging tech risks, including oversight frameworks for tools such as AI and automation

Skills & Background:

• Holding relevant accreditations (CISA, CISM, CISSP) and demonstrable experience in tech assurance or IT audit

• Deep understanding of IT control environments, risk frameworks, and internal auditing principles

• Able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholder groups

• Prior exposure to dynamic, scaling businesses – M&A familiarity highly beneficial

• Flexible and solutions-focused, with a proven ability to adapt within a fast-moving corporate setting
