Internal Audit Manager - FTSE 20 /Global Fortune 500 Business

Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

To $150,000 + 30% bonus + excellent benefits

Astrum Search is partnering with a global FTSE 20 / Fortune Global 500 organisation to appoint an Internal Audit Manager for North America.

This is a high-profile role within a best-in-class Internal Audit function, offering real influence across a complex, consumer-focused business operating at significant scale across the US and Canada.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Audit Services, you will lead delivery of the North America audit plan, partner closely with senior leadership, and provide pragmatic insight on risk, controls and governance. The environment is commercial, fast-moving and highly visible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver internal audits across the North America region.
• Develop and maintain the North America audit universe and support the annual audit planning process.
• Produce clear, concise and practical audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Build strong, influential relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
• Support risk assessment activities and Audit Committee reporting.
• Provide thought leadership across risk management and controls.
• Drive continuous improvement of internal audit methodology and ways of working.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong internal audit background within a large, complex organisation and/ or major professional services firm.
• Recent US SOX experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Internal Auditing Standards, PCAOB standards and COSO.
• CPA, CIA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Confident communicator with the presence to influence senior stakeholders.
• SAP, HFM and data analytics experience beneficial but not essential.
