Head of Internal Audit (senior manager level)

Reports to Director of Risk and Assurance 

London based, up to 3 days a week 

Low global travel

This FTSE250 business covers a global remit across Europe, North America and Asian remits; as such, a great chance to work in a globally recognised business. 

The culture is very strong, with a great Central London office where SLT is based; this role comes with superb exposure to the most senior members of the business. 

The Director of Risk and Assurance is looking to give someone an opportunity to step up to their first Head of Internal audit role - you may currently be at a manager level (managing/ mentoring people), or a Senior Manager level. 

The role allows you to take responsability for Internal audit with support from your line manager; a great chance to help shape a department! You will manage 2 people, review their work, help prepare AC meeting papers, work with key stakeholders, and get involved with some high level more complex audits. 

The travel is global but on the low side, and managed by you!

The office is Central London based with up to 3 days in the office - it is a great distance from a key station so great for commuters. 

The ideal candidate:

- ACA, ACCA, CIA qualfied 

- Experience in internal audit; risk based plan, and has the aptitude to lead projects, shape the audit plan, and educate SLT 

- Retail sector is a high desirable 

- Driven, motivated, passionate about their work, and able to work in a less mature IA environment 

- Currently a manager or senior manager looking for a first step up!
