FTSE250 Internal Audit Manager 

Borehamwood based - onsite car park or bus/ walk from station

This FTSE250 business is on the up, and with this, growing their governance capacity. 

This is a rare opportunity to help build a function, drive the risk and controls agenda, and mentor/ coach auditors in the team. 

The role is all encompassing; you will help implement and build out audit processes across finance and ops, with a risk based approach. You will also aid the Head of IA educate the business on risk, and drive forward the controls maturity. 

There will be some UK site travel, occasional travel to Europe, and the need to be in the Borehamwood office 3 days a week.

The ideal candidate will have in-house internal audit experience, from a commercial sector. 

There should be appreciation of "what good looks like", and an ability to replicate this in a more immature setting - creativity and a hands on approach is useful! 

People skills are important, so the ability to interact and influence senior people.
