Astrum Search is working with a global, FTSE-listed PLC to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing US internal audit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious auditor who wants broad exposure across a global business, genuine autonomy, and the chance to contribute to the development of the team across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end audits: planning, fieldwork, reporting

• Engage directly with business leaders across the US, Mexico, Canada, and occasional global locations

• Shape audit scope, assess risk areas, and deliver valuable insights

• Coach and support global audit team members

• Work independently while partnering closely with senior stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years’ audit experience (internal audit strongly preferred)

• Solid grounding in audit standards, accounting principles, and risk management

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• CPA / CIA / CISA (completed or in progress) is advantageous

• Willingness to travel up to 30% across the US, Canada and Mexico
