IT Audit Manager - Global Fortune 500 Business

Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

$120,000 - $150,000 + 30% bonus + excellent benefits

 

Astrum Search is delighted to be supporting a major global organization in the recruitment of a Group IT Audit Manager for North America. This is a senior, high-impact role within a world class FTSE 20 and Fortune Global 500 business that delivers essential food, hospitality and support services across every major sector.

 

As part of a globally respected Internal Audit function, this role offers the chance to shape and deliver the North American IT audit strategy while partnering closely with senior leadership across a vast and highly diverse business.

 

Based in Charlotte, NC and reporting directly to the Group Head of IT Audit, you’ll take ownership of the technology audit agenda for the region, providing trusted insight, challenge and assurance. The environment is fast moving, commercially driven and offers significant visibility at both regional and Group level. Travel is expected to be a maximum of 20 percent.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the North American IT audit and assurance strategy and annual IT audit plan.
  • Maintain and enhance the North America IT audit universe.
  • Lead and execute IT audits across cybersecurity, production systems, SDLC, infrastructure and emerging technologies including AI.
  • Produce clear, concise and actionable audit reports.
  • Build strong, influential relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Provide thought leadership across cybersecurity risk, IT general controls and assurance over major IT change.
  • Drive continuous improvement of audit methodology and ways of working.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven IT audit or IT assurance background within a large corporate internal audit function or a major accounting firm.
  • CISA, CISSP, CRISC or similar credentials an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of IT risk, security, controls and technology architecture across infrastructure, network and applications.
  • Ability to translate complex or technical issues into clear, simple messages.
  • Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset and an ability to see technology risk in a business context.
  • Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across teams.
  • Experience in consumer focused or Fortune 500 organizations desirable.
  • Knowledge of PCAOB, SOX, COSO, COBIT, NIST, ITIL and related frameworks.
  • Data analytics experience a bonus.
