Astrum Search are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join a specialist Not-for-Profit (NFP) audit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including charities, trade unions, and higher education institutions, while playing a key role in delivering high-quality audits and building lasting client relationships.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage a portfolio of NFP clients, ensuring excellent client service and audit quality.

• Lead planning, supervision, and review of audit work.

• Review statutory accounts in line with Charities SORP, Further & Higher Education SORP, and FRS102.

• Supervise, support, and develop junior staff, including technical guidance and appraisals.

• Oversee billing management and client administration.

• Contribute to business development through tenders, marketing events, and writing articles.

• Support staff recruitment within the audit department.

What we’re looking for:

• ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, with significant post-qualification experience in audit.

• Strong technical expertise and experience with Charities SORP and FRS102 (desirable).

• Proven experience managing audit teams and client portfolios.

• Excellent organisational, planning, and delegation skills.

• Passion for working in the Not-for-Profit sector.
