Job Description

Astrum Search is working exclusively with a global FTSE 100 to recruit a new Global Internal Audit Manager. This is a newly created role in a growing in-house team. 

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Audit, you'll be part of a highly regarded internal audit team providing assurance to the business across their global markets. The Internal Audit Manager role is a hybrid role that will be responsible for ensuring the audit plan is delivered, be the key point of contact for any day-to-day issues the audit team have when on audit assignments, as well as deliver more complex audits when required. You will coach and mentor the team ensuring internal quality levels are maintained, assist with audit reporting and close-out meetings, and oversea the status of a portfolio of internal audits. 

As a senior member of the team, you will also assist with risk identification, provide input to yearly audit planning, and lead on continuous improvement activities to drive forward the quality and effectiveness of internal audits. 

The ideal candidate will hold an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA preferred) and have prior experience of leading the delivery of end-to-end audits, as well as coaching and mentoring more junior staff members. You will be flexible to travel approximately 20% of the time to global locations. 

Additional data analytics experience and fluency in another European language is desirable but not essential.
