Job Description

We're looking for an internal audit director to join a growing firm based in London, this role is due to business growth and due to demands of client requests within internal audit. This is a regular client we've worked with for many years and helped to build their internal audit insurance team. It is essential that the right candidate has expertise and knowledge within the insurance sector from Lloyds syndicates, brokerage or intermediaries. This role reports straight to the Partner who is well-established within this sector and is well networked therefore, an excellent person to get exposure to. The partner will also be handing over their internal audit clients for you to manage, this is a critical and key hire for one of our key firms. 

The ideal candidate, will need to come from a professional services background and it is essential for this person to have exposure to business development duties, from pitches, writing proposals and tendering. This is a key hire for this particular firm.

Profile of the candidate: 

- ACA/ACCA/IIA qualified (highly desirable/not essential).

- Strong technical internal audit experience

- Insurance experience (brokerage, intermediaries, or Lloyd's syndicates).

- Strong business development exposure or experience
