IT Audit Manager

Astrum Search is delighted to be working exclusively with an international PLC to recruit an IT Internal Audit Manager. Reporting to the Head of Audit, this is a newly created role and part of a growing in-house team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an IIA-aligned audit methodology with the Head of Internal Audit
• Take full ownership of audits, from planning to reporting, ensuring actionable and impactful outcomes
• Recruit, manage and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the business, embedding a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement
• Stay at the forefront of IT audit best practices, including the governance of emerging technologies like AI

Skills & Experience:

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP with a proven track record in IT audit
• Strong knowledge of IT general controls, risk management, and internal audit methodologies
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present technical insights to non-technical audiences
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth organisations, ideally with M&A exposure
• A robust and agile mindset, ready to thrive in a dynamic, evolving business environment
