Group IT Internal Auditor

Home-based (you must be located near to an international airport)

60% international travel

€70,000 - €75,000 plus benefits

Astrum Search is working with an international manufacturing business in their search for a new Group IT Internal Auditor. This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in Europe as long as you living close to an international airport.  This is due to the high level of travel that is attached to the role.

The Group IT Internal Auditor will be part of an international team that is located in various locations across Europe. The role reports to the Director of Internal Audit who is also based in Europe. This is a highly international role and requires up to 60% travel (approximately 25-30 weeks per year) across Europe, the Middle East, the USA, and Latin America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts IT General Controls audits and reviews, ensuring thorough planning, execution, and reporting.
• Analyses company policies and procedures while leveraging IT auditing standards and practices to assess the effectiveness of IT General Controls.
• Formulates practical, recommendations, focused on enhancing business value and operational efficiency.
• Develops strong, collaborative relationships with Group Head Office IT and divisional IT management.
• Undertakes additional tasks as assigned, including participation in ad hoc projects or special investigations, where necessary.

Skills & Experience:

• An experienced IT audit professional who has experience of internal audit or internal controls in a leading accounting firm (preferably Big 4) or international PLC.
• Flexible and able to travel internationally.
• High level of professional integrity with strong communication skills.
