Job Description

Astrum Search is working alongside a global commercial business to help them recruit a Group Risk Officer into their small but high functioning audit team.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit & Risk, you'll play a key role in the group’s ongoing risk management strategy. This is a highly visible role that will see you shape how the risk management is delivered and embedded across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop frameworks for measuring risk and reporting emerging trends
• Consider the Group’s principal risks and continuously review the system in which the Group manages these risks day-to-day.
• Risk identification and monitoring – consider how the Group identifies new risks and monitor changes to the existing risk environment.
• Working closely with the Internal Audit team to review risk mitigation measures for relevance, suitability and completeness.

Skills & Experience:

• Degree educated – professional qualification desirable, but not essential
• Experience of internal audit or risk management practices.
• Strong communication, commercial judgment, and analytical skills
